Riverstone’s 319 Irish Red is a classic Irish Red Ale named after Scott Hilscher, a dedicated Grand River Fire District volunteer firefighter who served the community as captain and treasurer for over 36 years. He bravely battled cancer for five years before passing away on March 2nd, 2022. This ale is brewed with a rich blend of malted barley, roasted barley, and caramel malts, bringing a deep reddish hue and a smooth, malty flavor profile. The addition of traditional English hops provides a subtle bitterness that balances out the sweetness of the malt(Just like Scott). This beer is a tribute to Scott’s legacy of service and dedication to the community and is our way to honor his memory.
